Empowering others to believe in themselves and have their voice heard has been a core aspect of Morrigan's life for the past 10 years. She has both worked and volunteered with people from all walks of life, in a variety of settings including hospitals, correctional facilities, community mental health agencies and residential treatment centres. In her work with clients, Morrigan is committed to co-creating an environment that is safe, respectful, compassionate, non-judgmental and authentic.
Morrigan uses an integrated approach to therapy based on the unique journey of the client. Morrigan has experience helping people with issues surrounding anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, loss, self-esteem/self-confidence, anger and stress management.
Morrigan holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Prescott College, Arizona. She also has a certificate in Grief and Bereavement from Continuing Studies at the University of Western Ontario. Morrigan is a registered member of the Ontario Association of Consultants Counsellors Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP) and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
