This unique workshop provides the opportunity to play with the act of creating in combination with interacting with a horse herd. Learn to let go of limiting beliefs and unleash your creativity through the way of the horse.

"THE SENSITIVE SOUL JOURNEY​: An 8 week Program"
 
Are you a highly senstive person? Are you 'too shy' or 'too sensitive' according to others? Do noise and confusion quckly overwhelm you?
 
Feeling over-stimulated is a way of life for highly sensitive people. Horses live and touch us in the heart, spirit and soul. Through this workshop with horses (highly sensitive beings) you will discover:
 
  • Inisghts into how high sensitivity affects both work and personal relationships (based on 'Highly Sensitive People' by Elaine Aron)
  • Tips on how to deal with over arousal
  • How to manage your energy for added comfort in your life
  • The heart and soul of who you are as a highly sensitive person and the gifts you've inherited
 
Join Susan & Morrigan, (two high sensitives) as we journey to the place of living with our souls through the use of unqie experiential techniques of equine facilitated exercises. No previous horse knowledge is necessary
 
The group will run every Thursday from 6-8 p.m.  for 8 consecutive weeks.

Reaching your Goals Beyond Graduation... Presentation Description This presentation discusses the transition process of graduate students to professionals (and everything in between). The presenter will share the personal journey of developing a private practice. The story will touch on beginning hopes and dreams, fears, challenges and successes. Students who participate in this session will also be led through a variety of exercises designed to assist developing clarity around individual goals beyond graduation.

 Dalton Associates is holding their annual Quality Assurance Workshop on May 4, 2013. This year the theme is "Serving our diverse communities through strengthening our private practices and reaching out to our intercultural community".
Morrigan will be sharing her own personal journey of starting a private practice and providing innovative programming in Equine Assisted Mental Health.

Please join us for The EQUINE ENRICHMENT INITIATIVE. This one day workshop is a unique platform designed to bring together equine enthusiasts to create a conversation around equine enrichment and well being. This workshop will offer a day of self-directed learning that invites participants to then return to their programs to implement the principles learned. This is only the beginning. The community and networks developed during the workshop will then continue online where there the conversation will continue. There will be discussion and support offered to programs regarding both the successes and challenges with the implementation process.

OFF-SITE WORKSHOPS

"Prescott College's 10th Annual Gathering on Equine Assisted Learning and Mental Health Best Practices"

Date: May 13th -16th​, 2013

Location: Prescott, Arizona

An event dedicated to exploring, discovering and sharing models, techniques and approaches in the fields of equine-assisted learning and equine-assisted mental health.

 

The goal of the Gathering is to offer a professional platform for the exchange of knowledge and the practical application of equine-assisted work. Presentations emphasize participant engagement and range from lecture-based to experiential, including equines.  Local live music and a picturesque conference setting, in addition to dedicated networking opportunities enhance the Gathering experience.

 

Morrigan will be presenting at the gathering on "Equine Assisted Mental Health: A Pilot Program with the Prevention & Early Intervention Program for Psychoses".
